Happy Birthday to me! I can't decide if #49 is still within the realm of being young or on the threshold of being old(er), but I'm happy to be celebrating it all the same. My good friend - who passed this milestone not-so-recently - says I'm officially old enough to be taken seriously. She says today I'm wise. Now, that leads to a whole bunch of questions about all the years before, doesn't it?
I've decided this year should be marked deliberately, as it precedes the Golden one. I'm going to do one brave thing every week this year of being 49. I mean, if I can suddenly get wisdom, I can just as suddenly get courage, yes?
....off to find the wizard to collect both my brain and my badge....
