M's Project

I don't have a picture of M's room with all the colors of her bedding, but this is a picture from the site where we ordered it. The colors are pink/black/orange/yellow.

Last weekend, M thought it would be fun to add more color to her room, via her closet doors. Her room has two double closets withe doors that have raised panels and she decided to do a little art. As you can see, it's still a work-in-progress. Any blue strips you see in the picture are masking tape. She's using only pink and black paint for her project. Not bad, eh?

The picture below shows both closets, but she's done very little with the closet to the left as yet.

When she was a wee little girl and complained of being bored, I would give her a bucket of water and a paintbrush. She'd spend hours outside "painting" the patio. I think about the only thing that's changed is she's using real paint now, still spending those hours lost in art.

She's having such a good time with this, I suspect pulling her away for school is gonna bum her out. ; )
