About six months ago, our oldest daughter adopted a kitten who's missing a few minor things like a tail and a toe. She named him Bonecrusher ("He needs a tough name so no one picks on him"), but the rest of us affectionately refer to him as "BC". She tells him daily she thinks he's beautiful and perfect and she treats him like a little prince. He reminds me of the Velveteen Bunny.
