Friday Feast

My friend over at Worth Doing the Hard Way, mentioned participating in the Friday Feast and I thought I'd give it a try! (Thanks, buddy!)

Appetizer

What is the nearest big city to your home?
Probably Jackson. We live in a college town, though. so our population is cut in half in the summer, when any town with a population over 12,000-15,000 would qualify.

Soup

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?
I am the champion of secret keeping. Truly, I hold secret breaking with the same low regard as gossiping. I hate 'em both.

Salad

Describe your hair:
Color: If I'm diligent, ash brown. Otherwise...well, I keep secrets.
Texture: thick-but-thinning
Length: just above my shoulders

Main Course

What kind of driver are you? Courteous? Aggressive? Slow?
I can be aggressive if I'm in a hurry. But then I remember the fish emblem on the back of my car and force myself to slow down. My fear is someone following me into the Piggly Wiggly parking lot and saying, "Hey, do you think Jesus would drive like that??" I have a thousand answers prepared, but I would have to repent of all of them.

Dessert

When was the last time you had a really bad week?
10 years, 1 month and 4 days ago. That week became the standard against which all bad weeks are measured. It was so bad that I went back to bed before lunch mid-week, pulled my covers over my head and begged God not to let me be the contemporary female Job. I somehow managed to crawl through the rest of the week; Monday came, and the sun shone again. I don't typically have bad weeks, I have bad moments. And those I hope no one sees. Hence, my fear about the Piggly Wiggly parking lot guy.
