Random things I've learned the past 9 days:
- My son is alive and well and living in California.
- There are deeper levels of gratitude within my heart for God's goodness and mercy than I've ever experienced before.
- Once a mom's fear over the well-being of her missing adult child is quenched, anger kicks in for the inconceivable selfishness it takes for said child to put his parent through such unnecessary angst.
- The heartache an adult child plants in the heart of his parent is forgiveable.
- Fleas are not your friend.

(((Karren))) With God we shall persevere. He shall be our strength when we feel we cannot bear the pain any longer. And then one day, He will straighten our boys out. I just pray that it happens in my lifetime.
